With fosters and rescues across the United States and Canada, there has been a large number of cases, which require expensive surgery or other care prior to these dogs being placed into their forever homes.  Dog owners sometimes come across a situation where their pet needs an unexpected medical procedure and needs help covering the cost.  Though actual cases and causes may vary, some are cases where the vet bills need to be paid off or reduced significantly.  Any amounts raised above and beyond the needed amount for the specified fundraiser, then the extra is placed into the Dog Bowl.  That money will be used to help the next Eskie or four legged friend that comes along and needs our help.
